How to order and view EDD reports

How to order an EDD report

Ordering an EDD report offers a more details review of your client's background.  To order an EDD report through FinClusive, you must first have completed the basic CDD checks by onboarding the client.  To review the onboarding process of a client, review the Adding and modifying clients topic.

  • Log into FinClusive.com
  • Navigate to the Client Profiles section on the left-hand side links.
  • Search for your client you want to order the EDD report for, then click on their name.
  • Click on the grey Compliance link next to Information.
  • Locate the Enhanced Due Diligence Section and click the blue Order link
  • Select the components to include in the EDD report. If you want all items, you can select all by clicking the box under Optional Verifications.
    • Overview and Organization Summary (standard included in each report)
      • An overview of what was search and retrieved for the case, including major findings and significant related individuals or entities.
    • Beneficial Owners Review (standard included in each report for an entity.  Section will be blank for an individual). 
      • An overview of beneficial owners and control persons identified via open/proprietary source analysis and declared by the customer.
    • Risk Score / Proof Score (standard included in each report) 
      • A score factoring in all returned information, based on FinClusive's proprietary risk model.  Furthermore, the Proof Score represents the availability and veracity of information.
        • High proof - High internet presence with multiple sources and information available
        • Low proof - Low internet presence with limited sources or information available.
    • Organization EDD Details
      • Verified legal structure (e.g., Corporations, LLCs, Foundations, S.A., GmbH, etc.) and any available registration documents, including entity status, incorporation dates, principal shareholders, current directors, entity name changes, etc.
    • Sanctions & Global Watchlists
      • Screening of names of entities and individuals against global sanctions (e.g. OFAC, EU, UN) and watchlists (e.g. FBI, Interpol, OCC, etc.).
        • This screening also takes place in basic CDD if enabled and is included in the results.
    • Adverse social media
      • Adverse results from social media searches on an individual or entity.
    • Adverse Media / Internet
      • Adverse results from open-source search's coving national, local, and high-profile English -Language international media outlets worldwide.
    • Wealth Analysis
      • Source of funds information from open-source analysis.  For entities this includes series funding rounds, government grants, donation amounts, etc.  For individuals this includes news media searches.
    • Legal Actions / Analysis
      • Open, closed, or pending federal/state/local litigation brought by or against the subject individual or entity.
        • Availability of information may vary based on jurisdiction. 
    • Dark / Deep Web
      • Dark web reports reputational analysis of individuals or entities.  
        • This report can also include compromised credential searches.
    • Bespoke Investigations & Local Source Commentary
      • Targeted reporting on individuals or companies based on a minimum of four discreet source background and reputation inquiries including:
      • Professional experience, associations and links with politically exposed parties. 
      • Unethical, illegal, or otherwise disreputable business practices. 
      • Questionable/unverified source of wealth.
      • Criminal allegations or links to known criminal organizations and operations with sanctioned parties.
      • Additional customized options are available.  Email support@FinClusive.com to discuss what options you would like researched.
  • Click next at the bottom of the page
  • Complete the frequency (if desired) for ongoing monitoring and revalidation of the items in the EDD report.
  • Review the summary of the frequencies and click confirm.
  • Click order at the bottom of the page.

Once order has been clicked, the request will be sent to FinClusive's EDD team to complete the report.  If you have notifications enabled, you will be notified as the report progresses.  If you need assistance on setting up notifications, see the Notifications topic.

Once the report has been completed, you will be notified it is available.  

View EDD results

  • Log into FinClusive.com
  • Navigate to the Client Profiles section on the left-hand side links.
  • Search for your client you want to view the EDD report for, then click on their name.
  • Click on the grey Compliance link next to Information.
  • Locate the Enhanced Due Diligence Section and click the View Results link
  • Dashboard will appear with all sections requested, along with the details of each.
  • There will be an option to add notes based on the findings to meet any specific criteria your company may have in your AML policy
    • These notes will not be included in the downloaded copy but will remain tied to the results available through the portal/API.
  • Once you have reviewed and added any notes, click accept or reject on the report.
    • An accept report will be marked as accepted in the system.  
    • A rejected report will be marked as rejected in the system.  This rejected status would represent that the company is not moving forward with the client.
      • If there is an issue with the report itself (content, details, etc.) contact support@FinClusive.com with the issue, and include the clients FinCID.
  • To download a pdf of the final report, click the download button on the right-hand side.

Accessing archived reports

Past reports will become archived as new reports are ordered.  Archive reports are stored on the platform for easy retrieval.

  • Log into FinClusive.com
  • Navigate to the Client Profiles section on the left-hand side links.
  • Search for your client you want to view the archived EDD report for, then click on their name.
  • Click on the grey Compliance link next to Information.
  • Locate the Enhanced Due Diligence Section and click the blue Archive link
  • Locate the report you want to view and click on it to pull it up.
