This process is done during onboarding and is periodically reviewed. Ongoing monitoring is an essential anti-money laundering (AML) control that allows an organization to assess its high-risk clients, partners, and counterparties over time to identify potential illicit activities or behaviors that may point to financial crime or other illicit activities.
